SIRISH Scholarship is the online scholarship/financial-assistance system of the Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare, Government of Assam, meant for eligible students and beneficiaries belonging to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi community of Assam.SIRISH is the online application portal used by the Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare, Assam for various welfare schemes for the Tea Tribes and Adivasi community.

The current application notification covers 7 schemes.
Applications opened on 26 August 2026 and the stated last date
is 5 October 2026; scheme.But the last date is extended upto 15 Octorber 2026.

Pre-Matric Scholarship
Who can apply?
This scholarship is for eligible Tea Tribes and Adivasi students studying in:
Class IX and Class X.
The official guideline specifies:
- Permanent resident of Assam
- Belong to Tea Tribes and Adivasi community
- Valid caste certificate
- Aadhaar-seeded scheduled bank account
- Family income not exceeding ₹5 lakh per year
- Must be studying in a recognized institution
- Recommendation from the Headmaster/Principal or relevant admission/fee receipt may be required.
Scholarship amount : ₹3,000 per year for Class IX–X.
2. Post-Matric Scholarship
This is one of the major SIRISH schemes.
Who is eligible?
The official guideline covers students studying:
- Class XI–XII
- Normal 3-year degree courses
- BA
- BBA
- B.Com
- B.Sc.
- Eligible integrated graduate + postgraduate courses
- Integrated MBA
- BA-LLB
- BA-B.Ed.
- MSW and other recognized courses.
Correspondence-course students can also be eligible.

Simon Sing Horo Special Post-Matric Scholarship
This is a particularly important scheme for students who have recently passed HSLC or HSSLC.
Scholarship Amount : The student receives a one-time ₹10,000 incentive.
Who can receive it?
Tea Tribes/Adivasi students who:
- Pass HSLC from SEBA or an equivalent board recognized by Assam Government, or
- Pass HSSLC from AHSEC or an equivalent recognized board
- Pass during the current year
- Continue their education at the next level
- Have admission/continuation proof
- Are permanent residents of Assam
- Belong to Tea Tribes/Adivasi community
- Have a valid caste certificate
- Have an Aadhaar-seeded scheduled bank account.

Financial Assistance for ANM/GNM & Technical Courses
This scheme is designed for students/youth pursuing job-oriented technical, professional, nursing, paramedical and diploma courses.
The official guideline covers courses of at least one year duration in government and recognized non-government institutions.

- Be currently and regularly pursuing the course
- Study in a government or government-recognized institute
- Provide previous examination marksheet
- Provide admission/fee receipt or institution recommendation
- Have family income ≤ ₹5 lakh/year.

This is intended for students pursuing Higher, Professional, Technical and Research Education.
The scheme specifically mentions areas such as:

Students Clearing UPSC/APSC Prelims
This is not a normal school/college scholarship. It is a special financial assistance scheme for Tea Tribes/Adivasi candidates who have cleared the Civil Services Preliminary Examination.
Purpose : The assistance is intended to help candidates prepare for the Civil Services Main Examination after clearing the preliminary examination.
